Click File in the top left corner of Outlook.
Click Account Settings button and then select "Account Name and Sync Settings" from the drop down menu.
Click More Settings button.
5. Under the Advanced tab, uncheck "Download shared folders" option and apply the settings.
6. Hit "OK," then Restart Outlook.
