First, close out of any Vanguard apps you may have open.
1. Click on the task tray arrow in the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. If you see an orange shield icon then right click on it then hit Exit (number 3 in the screenshot below)
In the start menu or search bar, search for IMS21 Software Update and open it.
You will see these two prompts in the bottom right corner. Just click the X for both.
Then follow the steps below to open the update center.
1. Click on the task tray arrow in the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. Right click on the yellow shield icon
3. Click Open IMS/21 Software Update Center
Click on Check for updates at the top and select the checkboxes on the left for the apps that have Updates available and select Process updates at the top.
Then close out of the software update and re-open your Vanguard apps.
