Connecting to Wireless Network on Corporate Android

PERSONAL DEVICES MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE GUEST NETWORK!

Before attempting these steps, please reach out to IT to obtain the required Wi-Fi certificate. This certificate is necessary to connect your device to the network.

In your phone's settings app, go to the Wi-Fi certificate management section. This can be most easily found by searching "certificate" in the search bar at the top of the settings menu.

Then, if prompted,  click on "Wi-Fi Certificate."

Select the certificate from your device's storage. The name of the certificate should be echo-root-ca.cer.

Name the certificate something like "Lynden door." The name should not matter so long as you select the one with the same name later.

Go to your Wi-Fi settings and click to connect to the corporate Wi-Fi network of your choosing. This will be either ADPWireless or LDIWireless. The instructions are the same for both networks.

Enter your username and password. Your username is the same as the one for your computer, i.e. jSmith. Your password will also be the same as the one you use to log in to your computer.

Click on "Select Certificate" and choose the one you named in one of the previous steps.

In the box labeled "Domain", enter lyndendoor.com .

Go back to the previous screen and connect to the network. Let IT know if you are unsuccessful or are having trouble adding the certificate.
