Install E-Catalog

Before installing the E-Catalog, check with your supervisor about which version of the E-Catalog you will require. Most of the time, this is the same as the branch for which you are working.

Navigate to P:\PCSetup\Extra\ecatalog and open the folder for the location of the E-Catalog you require.

Inside the location folder, there will be a file called "setup". Double click to run this file.

An installer window will open. Click "Next" twice, then "install" to begin installing the E-catalog as pictured below.

A window may pop up asking for your account credentials or asking if you would like to install the program. Please enter your windows username and password if prompted and hit "Yes" to allow the program to install.

Once the program finishes installing, there should be an icon on your desktop for the E-Catalog. Double click on it to open it. A window will open saying there is an update to the E-Catalog and will ask if you would like to update now. Select "Yes".

The E-Catalog will close, and a new page in your browser will open and begin automatically downloading a file.

Once the file has finished downloading, double click on it to open it. If your computer asks if you're sure you want to run the file, select "Yes." Another installer window will open. Follow the steps below to begin the E-Catalog update.

Once again, enter your windows username and password if prompted and select "Yes" to begin the update installation. The install process could take several minutes. Select "Finish" to close the installer once it has completed.

Open the E-Catalog from its icon on your desktop. It should look similar to the below image:

The E-Catalog should now be successfully installed. If it prompts you again for an update after this process, reach out to the IT Helpdesk for assistance.
